OUR MISSION
Helping to meet the basic needs of youth in Southwest Washington with an emphasis on providing food during the gap times in the school year when other resources are unavailable. Our goal is to provide food to replace the meals the student would have at school, if school were in session. Examples of those times include Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Spring Breaks.
WHAT WE DO
Since 2016, SW WA Gap Foundation has worked directly with Counselors & Resource Coordinators at the schools to provide thousands of meals to local children and their families thanks to the generosity of individuals and local businesses, such as Columbia Bank, Current Management Group, and DESI Telephone Labels.
SW WA Gap Foundation is entirely volunteer-based - all donations go directly to helping children.
